Der bereits erprobte und weiter entwickelte Kurs „Teledozent online“ wird für die Bedürfnisse der im Zentrum stehenden Ausbildung angepasst und durchgeführt. Die teilnehmenden FachberaterInnen lernen die eLearning-Formen anhand von Moodle kennen. Der Umstieg auf jedes andere System im Kurs ist damit gegeben. Sie lernen auf diesem Weg nicht eine softwarespezifische eLearning-Variante, sondern das dahinter stehende Grundprinzip kennen und können dieses auf beliebig andere Plattformen (hier Educanet2) anwenden.
Der Kurs wird zum einen die eigene Kompetenz der FachberaterInnen entwickeln, um Weiterbildungseinheiten im Sinne des Blended-Learning zu gestalten und zum anderen die Kompetenz entwickeln, gewöhnliche Lehrpersonen zu unterstützen, die mit Blended-Learning Formen arbeiten. Der Kurs wird in beiden kantonalen Sprachen, Deutsch und Französisch angeboten und dezentral durchgeführt.

Das Projekt EduLaP wird im Rahmen der Nationalfonds-Programme durchgeführt und dauert von 2008 bis 2011. Projektleader ist das Psychologische Institut der Universität Zürich. Projektpartner sind alle psychologischen Institute der schweizerischen Universitäten, Switch sowie Universitäre Fernstudien Schweiz (Abteilung Psychologie und IFeL). Im Rahmen des Projekts werden Educational Landscapes (kognitive Landkarten) für das Psychologie-Studium in der Schweiz sowie ein ECTS-Prüfungsfragen-Pool hergestellt.

Within the STELLAR Network of Excellence the Theme Team SRL in TELE's has three main goals:
1. Providing a website, with reports on the activities of the Theme Team.
2. Organising and hosting an international conference on SRL in TELEs in Barcelona on October 2010.
3. The discussions and contributions to the conference will be edited by the editorial team (Per Bergamin, Donatella Persico, Karl Steffens & Jean Underwood). It is planned to have the proceedings published as a book. An online version of the proceedings will also be provided.

DICE aims at providing support to teaching and non-teaching staff of Swiss higher education institutions in copyright management of digital content for eLearning.
The specific goals of DICE are:
1. Increasing awareness of copyright issues related with digital content, in order to provide sound knowledge and eliminate unreasonable fears.
2. Developing fundamental skills in intellectual property and copyright management for higher education staff (e.g. understanding basic rules applicable in Switzerland, using Creative Commons licenses, etc.).
3. Increase the readiness and ability of authors to publishing open access resources (aka Open Educational Resources).

Through comparison, research and debate this project aims at finding out what the successful lifelong learning strategies and business approaches are for all kinds of European universities which are interested in meeting the challenge of lifelong learning. For the FS-CH it will be the opportunity to share its current experience and to develop locally strategies and models that will be put forward in this project.
